Sam Firth has been a story and script consultant for over twenty years supporting filmmakers with their projects for clients including Cowboy Films The Croft Digital Media, Big Box Network and The Welsh Arts Council. In the last five years she has also worked as an edit consultant working with documentary filmmakers including Lizzie Mackenzie, Of the Wild Productions.
She has supported emerging filmmakers and delivering skills development sessions for the GMAC Little Pictures Scheme and was Course Leader for the Met Film School Young Filmmakers Academy
She has contributed to the BA and MA filmmaking at the University of the West of Scotland and was course leader of the BA.
She has also delivered workshops and talks for the Scottish Documentary Institute, Edinburgh University, Women with a Movie Camera, Scottish Documentary Institute.
